Srinagar : A teen injured during weekend’s clashes in south Kashmir’s Shopian district succumbed today at SMHS hospital .

As per the news agency GNS reported that Sufail Ahmad Bhat (17), son of Ghulam Hassan Bhat of Dachoo village of Nagbal passed away at the SMHS hospital.

Bhat, according to the report, had suffered bullet wounds in his abdomen after the government forces fired into the protesters near the site of a gunfight in Badigam village of Shopian District on Sunday, in which Five militants and five civilians had died in the gunfight and the clashes. The slain militants included HM- commander Saddam Padder and professor-turned-militant Muhammad Rafi Bhat.
