Forces launch CASO in Shopian Village
Shopian : Government forces on Saturday launched a cordon and search operation at Turkwangam village in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A police official said that columns of army, police and CRPF launched a search operation in Turkwangam village of the district.
“The operation was launched after forces received inputs about the presence of militants in the area,” the official said.
He said that all the entry points of the village are sealed and door to door searches are going on in the area.
