Clashes erupt in Kulgam, four injured
Kulgam: Four youth have been injured during clashes between youth and government forces at Kulgam in South Kashmir were voting is underway.
Reports said that scores of youth assembled in Kujar Kulgam and started pelting stones on government forces deployed for polling duty and forces retaliated by using tear gas shells and pellets to disperse them, resulting in injuries to four boys, who were evacuated to medical facility,” sources said.
The four injured youth were identified as have been identified as Zahid Shafi and Waseem Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad and khalif Ahmad both residents of Kulgam.
“They have been shifted to District hospital Anantnag for advanced treatment,” sources said.
