Traffic resumes on Jammu-Srinagar NH
Srinagar: Traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway resumed on Saturday evening after remaining suspended for 13 hours due to the landslides in Ramban district .
The reopening of the 270-km highway came as a major relief to thousands of passengers who were stranded following the closure of the only all-weather road linking Kashmir with the rest of the country on Saturday.
Heavy landslides earlier triggered by rains at Ramban had forced the authorities to suspend vehicular movement on the highway.
After hectic efforts, the road was cleared and the traffic was allowed from from duo sides.
