Forces launch CASO in Shopian village
Srinagar: Government forces Friday evening launched Cordon-and-Search-Operation (CASO) in Guglaroo Pinjoora area of south Kashmir’s district.
Reports reached here to GMK said that, a joint team of government forces including Army’s 44- RR, SOG and CRPF cordoned off the Gugloora Pinjoora after receiving the inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Eye witnesses said that, door to door search operation was initiated in the area and all the entry and exit points of the village have been sealed.
Meanwhile, there was no exchange of gunfire when this report was being filed.
