Srinagar : Jehangir Chowk-Rambagh Phase-I flyover was thrown open for traffic on Friday morning.
The second phase of the flyover, longest in Kashmir spanning a total length of 1.64 kilometres, is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
Meanwhile it’s worth to mention here that, the work on the flyover had started in year 2013 with an estimated cost of Rs 369 crore.
However , The project is being executed by the JKERA.
While as, the construction work on the said flyover was badly hit due to floods in 2014 .
