Shopian: Government Forces have launched a Cordon and Search operation in Wathoo Shirmal village of Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Locals informed that they heard few gun shots during search operation.

Latest reports said that door-to-door search operation is underway.

A police official said that search operation was launched after getting inputs about the presence of militants in the village.

People have been asked to come out from their houses.

“All over there are men in green olives. The scene is scary,” said a teacher from area.
