Hajin : A complete shutdown was being observed in various parts of Bandipora district for the four Consecutive day.

Top official said, “On specific about presence inputs of two to three militants in the area, the soldiers of army’s 13 Rashtriya Rifles, the personnel of special operation group of J&K Police and the troopers of 45th battalion of Central Reserve Police Force cordoned off Shakoordin Mohalla, Hajin, at around 5 am and launched house to house searches.

He identified the slain militant as Mir Faiduallah from Pakistan.

Police on Thursday said that a Lashkar-e-Toiba militant was killed in a gun battle with the government forces at Hajin in Bandipora district.

Sources said that a non local militant identified as Abu Harris was injured on Monday during a brief gunfight. His dead body was brought by militants and kept near a local graveyard for burial, where from locals picked him up in the morning.

Hajin town of Bandipora district in northern part of Kashmir is observing a complete shutdown on Tuesday to mourn the killing ofLashkar-e-Toiba militant in a gunfight with forces on Monday.

Reports said that all the shops,other business establishments, and educational institutions are shut while traffic is also off theroads on the Second consecutive day.
