JK Editors Forum Pledged to take Late Bukhari’s mission Forward

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Editor’s Forum on Monday attended the congregation at slain senior journalist, Shujaat Bukhari’s residence at Kreeri village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
While speaking on the occasion, JK Editors Forum spokesman, Rashid Rahil said paid tributes to the slain journalist and highlighted his role played in the field of journalism.
The spokesman announced that the forum will hold a special function in remembrance of Syed Shujaat Bukhari at Tagore hall in Srinagar where leaders, civil society members and others will throw light on his contribution.
The speaker on behalf of the forum pledged to take his mission forward. “Shujaat Bukhari had constituted the editor’s forum three months ago and now we pledge to take his mission forward with sincerity and dedication,” he said.
The forum also expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for the heavenly abode of the slain journalist. “we equally share the pain,” he said.
The members of the forum including its co-convener, Muhammad Aslam Bhat among all members of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh attended the congregation. (KNS)
