Coronavirus: India’s tally crosses 1.82 lakh, toll crosses 5,000

New Delhi: India on Sunday recorded a record daily jump of 8,380 new coronavirus cases, taking the total to 1,82,143 infections. The toll stood at 5,164. The country is now the ninth most-affected in the world.
India’s tally crosses 1.82 lakh. Of these cases, 89,995 people are being treated, 86,983 have recovered. The nationwide toll stands at 5,164 and one person has left the country.
Globally, the coronavirus has infected 59.23 lakh people and claimed over 3.69 lakh lives, according to the Johns Hopkins University tracker.
