Srinagar : Senior journalist Shujaat Bukhari has been shot dead at by gunmen in Press Colony in Srinagar. The journalist and two security guards have been injured and taken to hospital. This is the first attack on a journalist in a long time in Kashmir.
Meanwhile , Chief Minister Mehbooba in a tweet said, Shocked & deeply saddenes by the sudden demise of Shujaat Bukhark . The scourge on the eve of Eid . I strongly vondemn this act of mindless violence & pray for his soul to rest in peace . My deepest condolences to his family , CM tweeted .
